REGISTRATION and Entry Deadline
Registration for 2010 has closed. If you missed the entry deadline, you may have the possibility of registering day-of at the regatta for the Bullpen. Please see further details by clicking on Bullpen.
Online registration is available at this link. Entry confirmation and a list of entrants is located at this link (where you can click on a particular event). Qualification times are NOT required to compete in the C.R.A.S.H.-B. Sprints. The event is open to all competitors regardless of experience levels.
The deadline to enter the 2010 C.R.A.S.H.-B. Sprints is midnight (EST) Monday, February 1, 2010.
General Information
The 2010 C.R.A.S.H.-B. Sprints will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2010 at Boston University’s Agganis Arena.
Doors open at 7:00am. The C.R.A.S.H.-B. Sprints is a one-day event with racing scheduled from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
C.R.A.S.H.-B. Sprints offers Adaptive events for FES and in the Paralympic rowing categories for Open Men and Women (no age restriction). Paralympic events are also offered to Junior Men and Women. Adaptive athletes will race 1000m. Able-bodied athletes will race 2000m. The Coxswain event (which is open only to coxswains, not flyweight rowers) is also 2000m.
Hammers awarded to overall winners in all events, medals for 2nd and 3rd places. New for 2010: special recognition medals for the top US collegiate finisher in each of the Open and Lightweight categories for the Men’s and Women’s events.

Location
The Agganis Arena is located at 925 Commonwealth Avenue in Boston. Visit the Agganis Arena web site for complete details of the facility. For driving directions, parking and public transportation information please visit this link. Agganis Arena has the following amenities available for use by C.R.A.S.H.-B. Sprints participants: bathrooms, locker rooms with showers, water fountains, and elevators. There are several food vendors on the upper concourse as well as a number of food options outside the arena.
Competitors and spectators are not allowed to bring food into the arena.
Food consumption is NOT allowed on the arena floor.

Erg Sales
The Concept2 Model D ergometers used at the C.R.A.S.H.-B. Sprints each year are available for purchase at the conclusion of the event at a discounted price. For further information, click here: Concept2 Offer.
If you plan on purchasing an Erg from Concept2, please park inside the Agganis Arena Parking Garage (Lot A) on the East Side of the garage, closest to the Freight Elevator. This will provide the most direct route to get your purchase to your vehicle.

Concept2 provides the airfare for up to four competitors from each of the twenty-one official satellite regattas leading to C.R.A.S.H.-B. Sprints. In the event that a given regatta has more than four qualifiers, the satellite regatta organizers decide who is selected for the trip. Concept2 has no role in that decision process.
