Basic Information

The 2012 C.R.A.S.H.-B. Sprints will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Boston University’s Agganis Arena. Registration for 2012 has closed. Doors open at 7:00am. The C.R.A.S.H.-B. Sprints is a one-day event with racing scheduled from 9:00 AM – 3:45 PM. Admission is free to all spectators.

Registration and Entry Deadline

Online Registration for 2012 has closed.  Day of Registration is available through the BullPenOnline registration is available by clicking on the Registration Info page link here → ”Registration Info.” The deadline to enter the 2012 C.R.A.S.H.-B. Sprints is midnight (EST) January 15, 2012. Complete entry list with heat and erg assignments will be posted early February following the close of registration.

Able-bodied and Adaptive Events

C.R.A.S.H.-B. Sprints offers Adaptive and Able-bodied events for 2012.  Adaptive athletes will race 1000m in the Paralympic rowing categories for Open Men and Women (no age restriction) as well as in an FES category. Paralympic events are also offered to Junior Men and Women.  Able-bodied athletes will race 2000m. Competitors row against the clock on Concept2 Model D Ergometers.

Hammers are awarded to overall winners in all events, medals for 2nd and 3rd places (dependent upon number of entrants in an event), as well aspecial recognition medals for the top US collegiate finisher in each of the Open and Lightweight categories for the Men’s and Women’s events.
