Hammers/Medals

Hammers will be awarded to overall winners in all events as determined by classification based on age, weight, and gender, with medals awarded for 2nd and 3rd places based on the number of entrants in that category. 2nd place medals will be awarded in events with 3 or more finishers and 3rd place medals will be awarded in events with 4 or more finishers. Continuing for 2012:  special recognition medals for the top US collegiate finisher in each of the Open and Lightweight categories for the Men’s and Women’s events. Competitors are only eligible to win a prize for the event in which they raced.

Award Presentations

Check the race results on site or on line. If you are in the top 3 finishers of your event, report to the award area located in the Vender Village . Please identify yourself to one of the C.R.A.S.H.-B. officials. The Award schedule will be available on race day at Athlete Check-in as well as the World Information Headquarters.
