The date for the 2012 C.R.A.S.H.-B. Sprints is Sunday, 19 February.

REGISTRATION and Entry Deadline

The deadline to enter the 2012 C.R.A.S.H.-B. Sprints was midnight (EST) January 15, 2012.

Online Registration is now closed. If you missed the entry deadline, you may have the possibility of registering day-of at the regatta for the Bullpen. Please see further details by clicking on Bullpen. Online registration is available by clicking here → “Registration link.” Please read the rest of the page carefully before you register. In order to ensure receipt of entry confirmation as well as a very small number of important registration updates, please make sure to add roninregistration.com and crash-b.org to your email address book.

Current entries my be found by clicking here. Please note, this list will not be entirely inclusive and will not include Satellite Qualifiers who have not yet been registered. Please note that until payment has cleared, all entries are preliminary. It is the responsibility of the entrant to confirm payment has been made. The final confirmed entry list will be posted by early February following the close of Registration.

Qualification times are NOT required to compete in the C.R.A.S.H.-B. Sprints. The event is open to all competitors regardless of experience levels.

Seeding (erg to which you are assigned)

All competitors will be seeded for their particular race category. C.R.A.S.H.-B. will post these seedings along with the actual race schedule as soon as possible following the close of Registration which is at midnight (EST) on January 15, 2012. Seedings will continue to be updated until race day. It is the responsibility of the competitor to know the final race schedule posted on Sunday, February 19, 2012, which may vary from what is posted online.

Entry Fee

High school and college undergraduates: $20. All other competitors: $25

Entry fees are non-refundable. No exceptions. USRA Membership is not required. Full payment is due prior to the day of the event.

Waiver Form for competitors under the age of eighteen on the day of the regatta (February 19, 2012) or who are intellectually disabled

Competitors under the age of eighteen on the day of the regatta (February 19, 2012) or who are intellectually disabled must have their waiver form signed by a parent or guardian. All other competitors must sign a waiver during athlete check-in.

Event Classifications

Open - No age restrictions

Heavyweight - No weight restrictions

Lightweight – Men – 165 lbs max, Women – 135 lbs max

(There is a Lightweight Divisions for Open, U23, Junior, Master, Senior, and Veteran events.)

Under-23 – Restricted to entrants born on or after January 1, 1990.

Junior – Restricted to entrants in high school (or lower grade) born on or after January 1, 1994. All entrants must be 14 or older on race day – no exceptions.

(Note: High school students ineligible by their birth date for the Junior events will race in the Junior heats, but their times will be designated as High School competitors ranked within the Under-23/Open results.)

Master 30-39 – no handcapping, age is determined as of the actual race day (February 19, 2012).

Senior 40-49 – no handcapping, age is determined as of the actual race day (February 19, 2012).

Veteran 50+ – no handicapping, grouped in five-year age categories based on age as of the actual race day (February 19, 2012).

Adaptive (all events are self-classified)
