Weigh-in
- Athletes not registered for a Lightweight event may not elect to change events after the close of Registration on January 15, 2012, regardless of weight on race day.
- All Lightweight competitors MUST weigh-in on race day.
- Weigh-in attire is required. This is limited to at a minimum: unisuit/all-in-one OR shorts/trou/boxers and shirt/top. See example to right. There will be no naked weigh-ins.
- Lightweights must weigh-in during the one hour window of time beginning exactly two hours BEFORE their assigned race time and ending exactly one hour BEFORE their race time. Athletes who fail to weigh in will still row on their assigned erg at their originally assigned time; these entrants will not be moved, only their results will be moved (into the Open category of their event). The weigh-in area is located in the northwest corner of the event floor in the locker room area.
- All Lightweight competitors will have their names, heat numbers, and erg numbers checked at the weigh-in. Each Rower having successfully completed his/her respective weigh-in will then be stamped by an official. Any competitor missing said stamp verifying that he/she has successfully weighed-in, or failing to weigh-in at all, will be allowed to compete at their pre-assigned time, but his/her result will be placed into the Heavyweight (open) division for that category.
- Bullpen Weigh-in: Lightweight competitors will need to weigh-in between 8:45am and 9:45am immediately after registering for the Bullpen.
- As a reminder, please note the weight restrictions:
Lightweight Men – 165 lbs max
Lightweight Women – 135 lbs max
